Some people learn books by heart… and they are limited to the situations in these books… If you give them a real life situation, they could get crazy or even complain “B sa pa dans livre sa!”…
Worst is that those people are deified by some since they are considered to be the bests out there… Oh God…
That is absolutely true. Learning only to have certs and all, this is what foolish people do. Learning without understanding, learning without wanting to share. Akoz sa m dir, aret aprane XD nah, kidding. You should learn things what you actually want to, else you’re just gonna be like those foolish peeps who think that owning certificates is the only thing that matters in life. And I have to say, I am guilty of that XD Having certificates which would not and do not form part of my goals in life.
Unfortunately, in our education system this is not the case. People just try to appear smart just through by-heart learning… Well not only here in Mauritius… In India it’s even worse! They learn everything by heart there… anything that you could imagine…
I think the lecturers/teachers also tend to give questions directly from the books. They do not really want to give us a completely different question for the exams because these questions can have 1000 different answers and each individual answer might be right..

I believe that we need to understand the concept, the logic behind and the rest will be easy. Books are made for reference purpose.
Hi Neelesh.
